Cantha request- a city!
I would like to see an actual city in Cantha. You have to admit, Lion's Arch and Ascalon are populated villages at best, most of Tyria is tribal villages. I'd like to go Cantha and see an entire zone that is a city.
People walking everywhere, some good, some bad, all able to aggro (like neutral birds, lizards, etc.) Some monsters down dark alleys or on top of buildings, some buildings enterable... Perhaps the edge of the city (where the inn, tavern and bazaar are located) could be the waypoint for the city, the map marker. We've been in desert, glaciers, forest, plains, jungle, badlands, ruins, swamps... what's left but cities? |

yes, and one that is its own instance, maybe even 2 or 3 instances big... not just one little village that exists within a waypoint.

Excellent idea!
There could be sewers and basements as well as towers and gettos. Wards or Districts could be instanced to keep graphic load down. |

The kind of city that comes to mind is the massive one in bolder's gate 2 which you start in.
There was loads of areas to visit and all sorts in that
